As a Remote Mechanical Design & DFM Manufacturing CAD Engineer — AnyHired Specialist Network with AnyHired ($40 - $80/hour, 100% remote), you will play a direct role in shaping how next-generation AI systems reason through complex problems in solidworks, fusion 360, onshape, inventor. This contract offers flexible remote scheduling for qualified professionals across the US, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Ireland.

Role Deliverables

• Review, critique, and improve existing engineering documentation to enhance clarity and manufacturability.
• Contribute insights on design for manufacture (DFM) and help optimize parts for real-world production scenarios.
• Demonstrated professional or academic background in solidworks, fusion 360, onshape, inventor, creo, nx.
• Strong analytical reasoning and ability to articulate complex concepts clearly in written English.
• High attention to detail when reviewing technical or domain-specific documentation.
• Self-motivated and reliable within an asynchronous remote work environment.
• Create and interpret professional engineering drawings, ensuring all relevant details are conveyed for manufacturing.

• Experience collaborating on engineering projects remotely and sharing feedback in a constructive, professional manner.
• Compensation Band: $40 - $80/hour
• Work Location: Remote (100% Remote / Asynchronous Flexibility)

• Core Competencies: solidworks, fusion 360, onshape, inventor, creo, nx, freecad, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (gd&t), engineering drawing interpretation, technical documentation
• Extensive industry experience in mechanical design, with parts successfully transitioned from concept through to manufacturing.
• Expert-level proficiency in CAD software, with demonstrated capability across multiple platforms (e.g., SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Onshape, Inventor, Creo, NX).

Hourly Compensation & Flexibility

• Compensation Rate: $40 - $80/hour (contract specialist remuneration)
